Celebration of the 200th birthday of Madison County

The Ned 314 E Main Street, Jackson, TN, United States

Madison County’s official Bicentennial Celebration will be held at The NED.  The event will include re-enactors sharing events through our 200 year history, music to remind us of our heritage, as well as videos from some of our communities historic icons – reflecting about the past.

The Lane College band will then walk the attendees from The NED to the Madison County Court House to dedicate a Bicentennial Painting, which will be hung in a prominent place as a reminder of 200 years of history.  The day will end with a Gospel Choir reminding us of the faith it took then and the faith we continue to have as we move forward with our eyes set on an even brighter future for our community.  This event will be by invitation only, as there is limited seating.
