JACKSON, Tenn. – In addition to celebrating the 200th birthdays of the City of Jackson and Madison County, organizers in individual communities are planning “Heritage Days” to commemorate their history.
Previous Heritage Days were held in the fall and winter and the next Heritage Day will take place in Spring Creek on Saturday, May 7 from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the barn of Johnny Woolfork.
Visitors will experience a county fair setting with cake walks, food trucks and live entertainment by the Plectral Society and Don Hays. Children will also enjoy lawn games, dunk tanks, inflatables and hayrides.
This is a family friendly event to celebrate the 200th anniversary of Jackson and Madison County. Attendees are encouraged to bring a lawn chair to the festivities.
