JACKSON, Tenn. – In addition to celebrating the 200th birthdays of the City of Jackson and Madison County, organizers in individual communities are planning “Heritage Days” to commemorate their history.

Previous Heritage Days were held in the fall and winter and the next Heritage Day will take place in Oakfield on Sunday, April 24 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Pugh Borne Park.

Hear – The Master’s Call Quartet from Oakfield Baptist Church

Share – your old stories about Oakfield and hear everyuone else’s

Meet – your classmates from Oakfield, East and Nova Schools

Bring – a card table and display your Oakfield pictures and other items for everyone to see and enjoy

Enjoy – hot dogs/hamburgers, desserts, and the playground and open spaces of our community park.
